On Saturday 21 September, the San Sebastian International Film Festival, in its 67th edition,  celebrated in the Velodrome of Donostia the concert “Zinemaldia; concert & screening ”. This concert, organized by Euskadiko Orkestra Sinfonikoa / Orquesta Sinfónica de Euskadi (OSE), the SGAE Foundation and the Festival itself has become a regular proposal with a capacity of 2700 seats. This year, this concert has had the special collaboration of Landarbaso Abesbatza from Errenteria, invited by the OSE and under the direction of Juanjo Ocon. In the show concert soundtracks from movies like Elkano, The Great Adventure of the Lunnis and the magic book, Wrinkles, Handia, Errementari, etc … were performed, accompanied by an editing of scenes from the films themselves.

Landarbaso Abesbatza attended the event with great enthusiasm, being the first time he performed with OSE in a musical proposal of this style. In 2015, it participated with the OSE of Fernando Velazquez’s album “Concert Suites / Music for Films”, where it recorded soundtracks by the composer himself. This time, however, the interpretations of the original soundtracks were performed within the framework of a concert and the choir from Errenteria enjoyed the performance with a great interpretation of all the artists. Landarbaso Abesbatza sang in three of the program works: Elkano, The Great Adventure of the Lunnis and the Magic Book and Errementari, in three of the four movements of it. Congratulations from the organization and director Juanjo Ocon himself showed the good work of Landarbaso Abesbatza in this massive concert.
