What is Landarbaso Choir ?

andarbaso Choir borns in the beginning of the nineties at Errenteria, town of Gipuzkoa with a population of 45000 people, where all kind of music has a place. Institutions like the minicipal conservatoire have always been the mine of different musical groups like our. And that is why the beginning of Landarbaso Choir is inseparably joined to this conservatoire, at it took place the first steps of a choral group full of young people hopeful for growing.

andarbaso choir is composed with young people between 18 and 29 years old. All of them come from different conservatoires of the region, and they have a solid musical knowledge. Add to this that the most of the components of the group are well-known instrumentists, that results a very good help for the choir development and its musical evolution. Landarbaso is a chamber choir because of its characteristics and the musical work it performs. And this has some advantages, like it can be the extensive range of posibilities on the repertoire, and the dynamism that makes more easy to work difficult sheet music in its execution, that in other way we wouldn´t be able to reach.

n this group have been taking part instrumentists of the Spain´s National Young Orchestra, and from other important Orchestras, different chamber groups, brass bands... We have been proud of have had with us music teachers and musicologists, that brought great quality and experience to the evolution of the choir.

efering to the technical direction we have the privilege of having with us one of the most prestigious directors of the region. There is no more than revising the curriculum vitae this contacter has worked, to take notice of his musical and pedagogic level. So Iñaki Tolaretxipi has achieved to lead a proyect, getting for himself an inconditional choir singer´s support. The human and technical group around him have favored, whithout any doubt the harmony and the good enviroment, both necesary ingredients for the good action of any group.
